This is the newest favorite tea in our house ( we go through phases )
It makes wonderful sun tea!
With it being in the 80s and sunny, it's been perfect weather for making sun tea!
All this beautiful color - I had just put the teabags in 5 minutes ago, in cold water! |
At the end of the day when it comes back inside, I like to stir a few big spoonfuls of honey in while it's still hot. Also a big splash of lemon juice brightens it up too!
Chill overnight, and it rivals the flavored teas Dad likes to buy at the store. 😋
Wanna give it a little more punch?
We've had fun making "slushies" with the tea as a base.
What you need is; tea - or fruit juice works too, as does kombucha.
Next, frozen fruit, we have a lot of raspberries, strawberries, cranberries... whatever sounds good!
Then a blender.
"vroom vroom"
Add ingredients to achieve the amount of slushy you need, and to get your favorite consistency.
It's yummy!
Look! Tea! |
Yummy! I like how the light shines through the tea in the jar, it makes for unexpectedly cool photos!
