Yep, that's our affectionate nickname for these little guys.

They turned 3 weeks old today.
Mocha is unsure if she approves of them.
"What are you doing? Can't you hold still for a second?" |
They're quite the little handfuls. :)
It's hard to be 100% sure, but we think we have 2 girls and a boy.
In the picture above, from left to right:
Toby, Donna, and Bonnie…
I think.
Actually, it could be: Bonnie, Donna, and Toby.
Donna is definitely the one in the middle, but Toby and Bonnie are a little harder to tell apart from the front (Toby is bigger).
Becca: "Yeah, I think Bonnie is on the left… the one on the right seems fatter..."
It's hard to believe we can tell them apart at all, isn't it?
They look like: Brown, brown and brown.
But, if you look very closely, Donna is more red/brown, Toby is grey/brown, and Bonnie is darker grey/brown.
Becca has decided that Donna is the most beautiful.
We try not to play favorites, but I think Donna gets more hugs. :)
Oh my goodness! So happy to start the day off with something this cute!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with Jill, this was the a wonderful sight to see early in the morning! I understand completely about telling similar looking animals apart, as I have a flock of thirteen white homing pigeons, and nobody but myself can tell them apart! My secret is to differentiate them by their eyes, they do have leg bands, but I never pay attention to them. You certainly know that you are an animal lover when you can differentiate them like this. I love best the picture of Mocha observing the little bunnies! Is she a Lahsa Apso, or a Shih Tzu?

Wow, homing pigeons? That is really neat! This may sound like a silly question, but what do you do with them? Do you raise them to sell?
DeleteYes, Mocha is a Shih Tzu. She likes the bunnies, but not if they get too close. :)
Ditto to Jill! What cute chunks they are! I. Love. Bunnies. Have you ever read Watership Down?
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes they are little chunks. :)
DeleteI haven't read Watership Down, but I'll have to look for it.
They are so cute and fuzzy looking! :D Your dog is cute too...I think if my dog was around little animals he wouldn't know what to think either. :P
ReplyDeleteThey are SO SO cute!!!!!! I want to find bunnies now so I can hold them and play with them. (And I love their names, especially Donna and Toby 8-D)
