11 random facts about Bethany:
1. Wherever I am, I like to pick up rocks I think are interesting or pretty.
2. Sometimes...only sometimes, mind you, if the rock isn't very dirty, I may lick it to see if it has stripes or something like that. (because that's easier to tell when a rock is wet.) Now, if only I was the Tenth Doctor and could tell what minerals it's made of by doing that. :)
3. Just in case you're wondering, my favorite kinds of rocks to pick up are jasper, honey agates, and petrified wood.
4. Next week, I'm going to be a camp counselor for the first time ever. :O
5. I gave a turtle a bike ride last week. He didn't mind too much, but on the way to the lake I didn't let him stop for a bathroom break... so I had to wash my shorts when I got home. :)
6. I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none kind of girl. I have too many interests to get very proficient at one in particular.

8. My nose points slightly to the left. I have no idea why.
9. "Nines, nines, nines...What's so important about nines? I want to write my sentence!" Uh, oh yes! I like to randomly quote things. (quote from the Andy Griffith show- The Education of Earnest T Bass)

11. My love of music from the fifties and sixties grew from listening to a collection of CD's our dad had of classic car songs, like this one, and this one, ever since I was little.

On to the questions!
Keturah's:
1. What is your middle name?
The name's Paige, Bethany Paige. Just like the pages in who served knights in medieval times, it means servant.
Lynn for me. It's odd though, because my first name Rebecca means "snare" and Lynn means "by the lake" altogether meaning "snare by the lake". I've lived close to a lake nearly all my life.... cue the Twilight Zone theme song!

Guitar and a little piano
I can squeeze a tune from a few instruments, including the piano, recorder and my vocal cords.

*Gulp* Um.... none.

Hiking, though swimming is fun, you can't really do it year round.
Hiking. But I'm sure hiking to an cave with a underground lake that you could swim in would be fun.
9. If you could choose any career what would it be?
To be a wife and mother. But if I stay single, an archeologist, maybe, or period costume designer, or a full time author, or the owner of a little shop..... :)
Wife and mother for sure. But if that isn't in my future, I'd love to write, pursue illustrating, graphic design, maybe become a famous christian singer, and I'd totally be with you, sis, with the little shop. :)
10. What is your favorite genre to read or write in?
Historical fiction, most definitely.
Historical fiction is what comes to my mind first, but I love old fashioned fairytales too and quirky stories like the Phantom Tollbooth.

Yes! Once our family made a whole meal from wild edibles.

On the wide and lonesome prairie. Well, it's not too lonesome.
In a cozy little cave where I still can find wee traces of wifi to steal. Yeah, no. I live on the prairie too. :)

Candlelight is pretty. :)
Yes it is, and fire is always fun.

I would like a cat, since I already have a little dog.
If I didn't have either to start of with.... I'd get one of each.
