Book Giveaway Tag

Alright, we've never done one of these before but since Miss Jack Lewis Bailot has so kindly tagged us, and since it looks like a very fun and interesting book, we're going to give it a try!

The book is called "Christmas at the Tittletons", a historical mystery by Joan Bassington-French. Her blog is here @ hiddenorchards.blogspot.com.

So, without further ado, here's the tag!

1. What is your favorite historical mystery book?

Bethany:  My favorite is "Detectives in Togas" by Henry Winterfeld

Becca: Mine is "The Sherwood Ring" by Elizabeth Marie Pope. Though we had some debate on whether it is a proper mystery, there aren't any murders but there clues and codes and things!

2. Would you rather read a classic or a mystery?

Bethany: Classics are nice to read, but I would choose a mystery book.

Becca: I usually get the characters mixed up when I read a classic, so I'd chose mystery.

3. How do you think Christmas at the Tittletons will compare with your favorite mystery?

Bethany: I'm not sure yet, I'll have to find out!

Becca: Not sure, but if we win a book I'll let you know : )

4.How do you think Christmas at the Tittletons will compare with your favorite classic?

Bethany:  Same as above.

Becca: Ditto.

5. Do you think you would like to write a historical mystery sometime?

Bethany: I would love to, if only I could finnish my current story I'm working on :)

Becca: Frankly, I don't think I'd be able to write one. I wouldn't think up a clever enough plot.

And the rules…

1. Please post all the rules

2. Please answer all the questions

3. Comment on this post when you have completed the tag and include a link to your tag post

4. Tag five other people

5. Let the people know that you tagged them

6. Include a link back to this post (like Jack said in her tag post, I think this means the original blog that started the tag. We did that at the top)

We have one problem. Since Becca and I are relatively new to the blogging world, we don't know many people. So we only have three people to tag. (we hope that's ok)

They are…

1. Clair

2. Elizabeth

3. Treskie

And there we have it! Our very first tag.

And just for Jack, an armful of baby rabbits!

They were pretty tuckered out, so they cooperated quite nicely (which is unusual).

  1. I have never heard of Detective's in Togas, but the title sounds fun. Looks like I have another book to add to my ever growing to read list. The Sherwood Ring has been on there for awhile, everyone who talks about it says it is very good so I've been meaning to get my hands on it for awhile now.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! That is the cutest armload of bunnies ever!!!

  2. I love mysteries but I would choose a classic over a mystery any day (: bunnies are cute! Once when we had around 15 cats - most grown - I took them all in my arms and my sister took a picture of them. It was hard to get them all in the picture ....... :) ~ Keturah

    1. Oh wow, 15 cats?? How did they like that? :) I could see how that would be difficult!
