Out of the box!

In last week's post I said that the clubhouse was going to get it's own post.
Well, here it is.  :)

It started with this great idea mom found on another blog.

I absolutely loved this idea!!
The "changing table" we had in the nursery, was an old dresser. It held children's books, puzzles, diapers, and served as a catch-all for other random things. With the organization I hoped to add to the nursery, the dresser would become empty and unneeded.
If the new changing table doubled as a playhouse, that would be a perfect solution for our small space.

Nursery Makeover

Hello everyone!

It feels like it's been a while since we've posted a project.
This isn't because we haven't been working on anything, actually quite the opposite.

One of our projects has been in the works for a few weeks now, and there are still a few finishing touches I want to add before it's truly done... but I can still show what's happened so far.

Mom, Bethany and I, with Dad's financial help, have redecorated our church's nursery.
It's the first room outside our own home that we've done this for, and it was so much fun!

I'd Do Anything for Valentine's Day

We wanted to do something on the blog for Valentine's Day.
Earlier this week Beth had the idea to do the song from the musical "Oliver!".
With a busy week and time running out, we ended up slapping together a more... haphazard production then we had hoped.
Either way it was lending itself to goofiness, so we embraced it.
Being two single girls, we can't take Valentine's Day too seriously you know :)
It ended up being reminiscent to the old movies Beth and I would make when we were little.

And yes, we have bloopers!

Beautiful People || Valentine's Edition

I should have guessed that February's Beautiful People would have a Valentine's theme, but when I first saw it, I thought "Crumbs, I won't be able to do it because I don't have any couples in my book."

Then I thought-

Just because their story isn't the main plot of the book, I do have two characters that get married, and they are a couple I need to work on, so this will be good for me to do.

So, let me introduce you to Quintus and Porcia.

Paper People Purity

By Becca

Hello!
I've been meaning to share this video for a while now, but I'm just now getting around to it.
I made this at school for Contemporary Issues class, and it turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.

I cut a ton of paper, borrowed a tripod, rearranged my room, rigged some lights, took a lot of pictures and made this video.

The topic is physical purity.

I hope you guys like it, or, at least find it interesting :)

I'd love to hear what you think!
