Happy belated birthday Becca!!!

(She turned 21 yesterday) 

Camp and home are about 3 hours about, but there's a city half way between us that makes a nice place to meet. Snow threatened our plans, but we were still able to make it there safely. 

My roads were a little worse then the ones Mom and Becca traveled on, but they waited for me at a cute little coffee shop.

I've been thinking about this story a lot, it's kind of in the crockpot of my mind. I first thought of it.... about 4 years ago. I will write this thing, someday, when I have more life experience and time.... like when I'm 83.

I'm sure you fellow writers know the joy of finding a song that seems to fit a character of your's perfectly.

You think of them the moment you hear the song, and maybe it even lends another depth and dimension of your character you hadn't thought of before, but it is still so completely who they are.

And maybe you've thought, "Why couldn't I have written that song?"

Or maybe it's just me. :)

1) What were your writing achievements last year?

    Well...... I did not finish my rough draft of Mithras and Myrrh, but I got quite a ways into, plus wrote a short story for a contest (it didn't win 😞 but if anyone is interested in reading it, I could post it), and wrote out a few more book ideas. Just what I need, right? 

2) What’s on your writerly “to-do list” for 2017?

   Finish Mithras and Myrrh. And get it typed out onto the computer. Right now it looks like this.
